Long Time, No Post
It's been quite a while since I've posted anything on the blog. Since Jerry was asking me about it yesterday I felt like it was no time, but the present to do so. Here are a few pics of when we went to the District Convention in West Palm Beach this summer. We were so glad that we actually made it over to Clewiston (were I used to work) and LaBelle (were we previously lived, before Wellington). I still think this was the best convention, EVER! We were delayed getting to central Florida so our trip was cut short.
Haille had gotten sick and we took her to her old ped's office in West Palm. We thought it was just the asthma acting up, turns out later that week when we got back in Jax, she had pneumonia. Haillee and I ended up spending a night in the doctor's office. We're just glad that we go to Jacksonville Beach Pediatric Center, they kept us in the office overnight and she didn't have to get admitted into the hospital after all.
Everyone's healed up for the most part. I'll try to fill you in on the last few months.
Alisiya and Meagan could not believe that they wore the same dress the same day, without even planning it. I guess best friends do think alike.

A sister that I meet, Catalina France, that just happened to know a sister in our Jacksonville congregation, Shani Woolbright, by way of Fort Myers. She asked to hold Haillee during the session and Haillee fell asleep with her. Thanks Catalina, I needed that break!
Here are our friends in LaBelle. Thank you so much Daisy for hosting us!
My whole crew getting ready to head back to the east coast and stay the night in Wellington.

Our Anniversary
Celebrating six wonderful years - Friday, March 6th, 2009
March 6, 2009 marked our sick, … I mean our sixth wedding anniversary. We needed time to retreat, rejuvenate, and relax and we had an awesome time close to home. This year it was my year to plan. So I surprised Jerry with a little get away to Ponte Vedra Beach. It was everything that we needed and a break well deserved. My parents were gracious enough to watch the kids for us.
We set out on Friday and started the day with massages. That evening we celebrated our anniversary Hawaiian style at Roy's. It was lovely and the food was amazing! Not to mention that my date looked great too!
The next day we enjoyed spa treatment right on campus. We vacationed at the Sawgrass Marriot Resort and Spa. After enjoying the treatments and losing each other some how at the spa we went to dinner at Pusser's Caribbean Grille. I know sounds gross, but the food is great. ( For more information on the Caribbean themed restaurant visit: http://www.pussersusa.com/carib_concepts.shtml )We just enjoyed each other and the allowed silence.
The Beach
Sunday was so much fun. We started off by having breakfast and taking the shuttle to the Beach. We got to enjoy the Cabana Beach Club before the beach got crowed and when it was just beautiful. (Notice the growing crowd of people in the beach pics.) We took the shuttle back to the resort, checked out and still were able to use all the amenities for the rest of the day. There was free bike rental and we rode all around the surrounding neighborhoods. I was so relaxed, don't I look relaxed, island style, in my pics. After that we played ping pong and explored the resort. Then, we went back to the beach just to enjoy for a few more hours. Our journey ended with us going the St. John's Town Center and getting me a new ring. The twins made it possible for my 1st wedding ring to never fit again. LOL!
So relaxed!
The Return Home
I did tremendously well being that this trip was my first night away from the babies. Maybe because I'm a veteran mom. Wow, 15 months a never a baby free evening. Thinking of it that way our trip was long overdue.
Our troop was as happy to see us as we were to see them when we returned. Even though my dad's first words to welcome us home were, "No more kids. I think you guys have enough". We were happy to be arms full of big girl and babies.

Love for Mom
Revelation 21:3, 4
"Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they
will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out
every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor
outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
We’re Back!
We have been away for a while.
We have been super busy, things happening all the time. Some good news and some sad. They say the only thing constant is change and that is no understatement.
