Love for Mom

On January 29, 2009 Jerry and his family lost his mother Joyce Marie Lawson. Here are some things about her and her life.

Revelation 21:3, 4

"Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they

will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out

every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor

outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

We’re Back!

We have been away for a while.

We have been super busy, things happening all the time. Some good news and some sad. They say the only thing constant is change and that is no understatement.

Disney Pics!

Here are some more of our Disney Pics.

Here is a short clip of the Parade of Lights. Sorry there is no sound but you can see the action.

Here are a few of the kids after our Disney trip. I think they had a little to much fun.

Disney!!!!!!!

We went to Disney World the weekend of Jan 9-11th. It was the 1st trip to Disney for the twins and the (we stopped counting years ago) time for Alisiya. The kids had so much fun. We all owe Daddy a big hug (HUG) and thanks (THANKS DADDY!) for the trip. He ran the Disney Marathon as on of the Florida Finniest and did wonderful this year. His time was 2:40:58! Not bad for a Masters that had to run 26.2 miles. A big Whoo HOO for The Dad! WHOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!

We all loved the trip and stayed at the wonderful Saratoga Springs. We did go to Disney during the afternoon on Saturday after the twins and I had a nap. Lisi and Daddy went to pick up his packet for the big race the next day. When we got to Disney we had lunch reservations for Liberty Tavern. It was so yum, yum good. Then we walked around, Alisiya did other things like hoola hoop and jump rope. She just jumped into the fun where ever she saw the opportunity. (That's our girl!!)

Next we went on "It's a Small World" together as a family. Haillee and Sebastian were mesmerized by the music and so many moving parts. They just pointed to everything the entire ride. Afterwards we took them to play in Pooh's Spot. He has a wonderful park that they enjoyed very much. Next Alisiya and The Dad when to get on the Stitch ride and the Mad Tea Party. After that we just milled around at the Rose Garden and took pictures. Then we went shopping for the whole family and a few people back at home. We caught the beginning of the light parade but, Haillee and Sebastian had seen enough of Disney World. So back to the room we went. We had a magnificent time. I can't wait to go again.

To School We Go!

Here are some pics of Haillee and Sebastian going to school. The weather here was 68 on Monday when the 1st pics were taken. The second sets of pics were taken two days later when the high was 40 degrees or so when we left the house.

Fall Festival

We had so much fun! It felt like the first time in a long time that we all just got to hang out. All of us where there, even the babies hung out way past their bedtime. There were so many games and things to bid on at the silent auction. There was a dunking booth that Alisiya nailed all three times too. (That poor little boy.)

We brought our cow girl along. She dressed herself and told me how many of her friends at school liked her outfit. Alisiya's favorite game was The Cake Walk. The way that it worked was there were numbers in a circle on the ground. The children formed a circle and all walked along the numbers to music. When the music stopped, they were to stay on a number. A number was drawn out of a basket and the person on that number could win a cake, cookies, or donuts. I have to admit, I think it was the busiest booth at the festival. There wasn't much too it, just the opprotunity to win a prize and the kids loved it. There was also a hula hoop contest that Alisiya and I participated in. They rigged it by giving me the broken hula hoop, so I was out of the game soon. The thing busted open and flew at Jerry. The twins just loved the opprotunity to be in a crowd. And my parents just liked being around the grands.

My fav part of the evening was the silent bidding on different prize baskets. I got so addicted. I felt like a shark, walking around to look and see if anyone out bidded me on anything. In the end I won (purchased) two baskets. One is a movie basket with popcorn, two movies, and lots of other goodies. The other was a Little Baker's Basket for Alisiya. It had two chef hats, an oven mit, aprons, and other goodies to bake in it. Overall we had a lot of fun together. It was good family fun!

Updated Pics

I haven't really had too much time on my hands lately. I started working full time and now the kids are in daycare. Just when we got into our groove of the day too. I miss them so much when I'm working all day. Alisiya misses being car pickup and she really misses her brother and sister.

I'll take pics of Alisiya tomorrow, she has a school festival. She's dressing like a cowgirl. Yeeeh Haaahhh!

Here are the twins one year old pics.
