Making the Cut

I decided that I no longer have the time to keep up with my long locs. I decided that short hair was the way to go w/ less time on my hands and having the babies and Alisiya to care for. I realized once I had Alisiya I at that time decided I didn't have much time. I at that time decided that shorter hair was easier to maintain. After the cut I've decided that I was right both times and I feel great having my hair already cut into a style. It's just hair...it'll grow back one day.


I decided all of this while Jerry was in New York running a race and I didn't tell him anything. This is the bouquet that he had waiting on him when he got back. ...

Yep a bouqet of hair.

All Dolled Up

Alisiya got a treat. A really well deserved treat. Alisiya has been an amazing help to me with her new brother and sister. She also has managed to keep a wonderful report card despite all that has been going on in the house this school year. She got all A's and one B this past semester.
 
We finally went somewhere that she has been asking for since it opened. She wanted to go to Tispy's. It's a nail salon that also has a full sized bar. So, Alisiya and I are sitting getting our nails done and sipping on a Coca Cola, while the chairs give us a back massage. Alisiya starts saying, 'MOM.' in the shaking voice that she now has from getting a back massage. The people in the shop could see her excitement and thought it was very cute and kept flashing smiles our way. Alisiya, of course, oblivious of it all.

Visit from Mema and Pepa

My parents came to visit us the end of March. All I can say is the visit was way too short. The kids really enjoyed them. Even though my parents had a great time with the kids, I think they went home to rest up.

Haillee & Sebastian's 1st Memorial

Fortunately, we arrived a little early for the Memorial it started at 9:00 PM. We had a very good Memorial talk given by our Presiding Overseer. The kids were very good and we got to hear the entire talk. The only reason that I got up was to feed Sebastian and he was done before the emblems were passed. Didn't everyone look so nice?
